Media Auction

AAF SWVA is honored to announce our seventh annual Media Auction. Local and regional media and creative outlets donate broadcast advertising time, newspaper and magazine advertising space, creative and media services, out of home, direct mail, and interactive media to be auctioned off live to the highest bidder! We want to connect local businesses with the best in advertising to grow their business and expand their reach.

Donors Win. Agencies and companies donating media for auction get a captive audience with the key decision-makers buying advertising in our region.

Bidders Win. By participating and buying media in the auction, a bidder can stretch their budget further and try new avenues to reach their audience.

The Club Wins. AAF SWVA uses the funds raised to support the local advertising community through professional development programs, educational outreach, public service initiatives, scholarships, and recognition opportunities in right here in Southwest Virginia.

WEHC 90.7 FM Radio Sponsorship Spots

Value: $800 | Minimum Bid: $200
WEHC 90. 7 FM is a 9,000-watt station broadcasting from the McGlothlin Center for the Arts at Emory & Henry College. WEHC is dedicated to bringing the community intelligent and thoughtful talk shows, as well as a wide variety of music programs. The station covers a minimum range from Richlands in the North, Mountain City to the South, Rural Retreat in the East, and Blountville in the West and streams live online. We do this to benefit both our community listeners, and our worldwide listeners as well. Winner receives a two-week sponsorship (15-second spot) produced by WEHC in accordance with underwriting guidelines. The winner should contact Richard Graves and work with him to produce and schedule spots. Item must be used by 7-31-20.

FM94 WMEV, Today’s Best and Most Country in conjunction with Bristol Broadcasting Company present a series of radio spots to promote your business to their radio listeners. Schedule may air at dates determined by the station in conjunction with the bidder. Advertising value for number of spots will be determined at the rate at the time of advertisement. Spot may be 30- or 60-seconds in length. Details for the script should be provided to station and includes production and voice over. May not be used to replace or pay for pre-existing schedules. A branding package from The High Road Agency including a logo, tagline and brand guideline document. Includes preliminary call/meeting with your team for initial brainstorming, idea sharing, etc. We will assign two graphic designers to the project to provide different visions and creative points of view. Included up to three initial design concepts and up to two revisions once the design concept is chosen. (This package does not include any printed collateral. However, we can provide quotes for all types of printing, signage, vinyls, wraps, etc upon request. This package includes a one-hour meeting (phone call or in person meeting at the 2Color Design office) to discuss design direction and contents of the rack card, two initial design options, one round of revisions and the final file delivered as a print res PDF. The client is responsible for providing all assets, such as photos and logos, in high resolution format. The scope of the project is eight hours.
